Music for Meditation – with LA French

It’s been a while since the last session but I’m finally getting Music for Meditation going again. The first two sessions, featuring long time pals Polypores and Field Lines Cartographer, went so so well – but I wanted to take a bit of break from events, mainly so I could concentrate on making music – also the idea of lying down on the floor during winter didn’t feel right somehow.

Anyway, we’re back on track and very lucky to be welcoming another long time friend of Emotion Wave, Luke French AKA LA French. If you haven’t heard Luke’s music before get yourself acquainted – it’s a warm, soft embrace of jazz/hip hop/textures that would fit right into a Worldwide FM ambient mix.

Also joining us is our regular meditation guide, Anthony Bennett. Anthony has a lot of experience leading secular mindfulness training sessions for various institutions and charities – so we’re very much approaching this from a non-religious / western science approach, in case anyone was worried.

Come and joing us on 2-3pm on Saturday 12th April at 24 Hope Street, in the upstairs studio 2. There are padded mats across the floor and some seats at the back so you don’t need to bring anything along to get comfy and zone out [or in], but you’re obviously welcome to bring your own cushions, mats, meditation bench etc.
